The Shields Meneley Executive Practice offers a highly customized process to meet the needs of executive and partner-level professionals. We’re focused on achieving the right outcomes based on decades of advising and coaching at the C-Suite.

Getting ready

The process is unique to the individual, we have to establish a solid foundation of information about the client’s needs and goals. We begin with a thorough executive assessment, followed by an in-depth, half-day discussion with an organizational psychologist and your Shields Meneley advisor. Following these steps, there will be a strategy and marketing meeting to develop a transition roadmap.

Getting out there

Once the engagement strategy is set, it’s time to implement! Through targeted marketing campaigns and personal introductions, your Shields Meneley advisor will proactively connect you to the right decision-makers and prepare you for interviews. From mock interviews to communication strategies, industry-leading research capabilities and other client services support, you will have the confidence to put your best foot forward for your new opportunity.

New beginnings

When all of these efforts conclude with an offer that doesn’t mean your relationship with the Shields Meneley Executive Practice is over—far from it. Our experienced advisors will help negotiate the compensation package with:

  • A detailed review of the offer (compensation and non-compensation)
  • A market study to evaluate how your compensation package stacks up against your peers
  • Referral to an employment lawyer
  • Ongoing counsel and strategies to enhance the total package

Ongoing support

After the offer is accepted, your Shields Meneley advisor will continue to work with you to develop a 100-Day Onboarding Plan in order for you to establish expectations as you begin your journey with a new organization. Your advisor stays with you throughout the 100 days to address any challenges and help you adjust to meet them.
