Professional Experience


Valerie has extensive business experience spanning 2 decades in the financial services industry in both line and staff roles. Her diverse areas of expertise include; Leadership, Human Resources Consulting, Strategic and Resource Planning, Operations and Process Management.


Valerie's career started in Retail Banking within a large Financial Services organization. She progressively held positions of greater responsibility resulting in branch managerial roles. Her branch and leadership experience provided the requisite skills to become one of the pioneers responsible for leading employees through the Bank's radical evolution to the current sales culture. Valerie also held a key role in the centralization of branch processing and administrative activities to Ontario Processing Operations. Here she held various senior positions including Senior Manager, Project Leader, Trainer/Facilitator, and Client Services Manager/Liaison for all branches within the Greater Toronto West Region.


With a passion for all aspects of talent management, her career took a natural turn towards Human Resources, first as an Employee Relations Consultant supporting various business units within complex areas of the bank including Electronic Banking, Wholesale Banking, Infrastructure, and Commercial and Business Banking. Valerie then became a Sr. Human Resources Consultant with a portfolio that included the bank's Leadership Development Centre, Finance, The Office of the CIO, with her final role as a Strategic HR Consultant and Advisor to Executives and business leaders within the Wealth Management organization.


Valerie spent 3 years living in the USA before joining Felix Global Corp. in 2002 as Manager of our office in the Durham Region. She is a Vice President of Client Services and manages key relationships with our Corporate Customers.
