> Terry Szwec, Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing

Terry Szwec is Senior Vice President, Sales & Marketing at Felix® Global Corp. Terry's background includes senior leadership, management consulting, executive coaching, assessment program design, and leading major human resources change initiatives.

A former Master Coach for a human capital consulting company, Terry started his human resources career with a major aircraft corporation implementing numerous strategic planning programs that addressed human resources planning requirements. In an earlier role at a large technology firm, he was responsible for both national and international training programs and related systems for their 18 offices in Canada, contributing to the global human resources consulting team as the organization downsized over 40,000 employees worldwide. Terry also had major profit and loss responsibility for a sales organization and led a large sales and marketing team from start-up to a fully productive enterprise.

In 1990, he was recognized for his contribution to Employment Equity when he was one of the first Canadian Award winners of the coveted Ontario Women's Directorate Award for Control Data's progressive work in career planning.

For over a decade, Terry worked for a publicly-traded consulting firm where he was responsible for national sales, marketing, and operations. He ran several change management and coaching projects, integrated new consulting products within the firm, and as the enterprise grew globally, he was involved in major mergers and acquisitions.

Educated at Niagara College and York University (Psychology), Terry began his career in sales and marketing at a global biopharmaceutical company. A frequent speaker on the topic of job search, leadership, change management, retention, and career planning, he recently co-authored a soon to be released book entitled "Jobstyle" that will address career choice and job search strategy.

Terry is a member of the National Speakers Bureau, chair of the HRPA Board Nominating Committee, the head of the Government Affairs Committee on the board of the Toronto Human Resources Professionals Association (THRPA), and also sits on a national political board.
