Professional Experience


Lori is a high energy, versatile and values based leader with over 13 years business experience focusing on the human resources discipline in Financial, Sales and Not for Profit industries. Significant achievements have been realized through linking and aligning business to people strategies as an active business partner and meeting and exceeding challenging personal and organizational targets.


Lori's most recent corporate role in a Senior Human Resources capacity for a major Canadian bank, included leadership for two divisions across two Western provinces. One of Lori's major projects focused on redefining the organizations approach to recruiting, with a view to enabling success through hiring top capability in the face of a very competitive landscape. Lori accomplished this task by joining divergent stakeholders, creating a multi faceted view of the problem, developing a common strategic platform and addressing the issues with a concrete, viable and cost effective strategy. The results included enhanced people retention, reduced absences, improved individual and team output / customer satisfaction as well as positive financial results month over month.


In the Not-for-Profit industry as a strategic enabler and innovative thinker who takes initiative, Lori guided the organization through significant 3rd party conflict resulting in improved union/management relationships, enhanced team focus and a new appreciation for Client Service. Using a similar approach Lori was able to coach another Senior Management team through a period of business transformation, to maximize employee potential and create a stronger customer experience.


As a National Training Manager, Lori led the delivery of Customer Service and Sales programs for a major Canadian financial institution, creating a renewed focus on direct to customer facing service, resulting in increased product sales.


Lori delivers business solutions which result in enhanced organizational performance. Her particular strengths are in understanding business issues, relationship building and in aligning the levers of employee engagement through strategic planning and business partnerships to achieve success.
